Wearable Art
This past week we have been planning a design for our wearable arts project. We had to make something in belonging and oruapaeroa or New brighton, my group decided to do the pukeko that live in our oruapaeroa and the pukeko is our bird on the window at the front of the classroom. In my group we had Mailli, Kahukura, Kymaira and Jayzaiah, here is a photo of our costume we made:

Today in math we got into groups of three and we had to complete a task together.
my group was heath and jasmine. The activity we did was can you create a shape with an area of 24 square units. here is a photo of what we did

This morning in te reo our class read a book about a hungry kea we then learnt a new sentance structure, ka kai ia i te... we then recreated a book using that sentance structure. We use differnt food and kararehe. here is a link to the video me and kahukura made:
Today a scientist called Averill came in to talk to us about spiders and teach us about other different spiders like red backs, katipo and white tails. Click on the link below to see my slides on trite planiceps. It was really interesting to learn about spiders and how much we actually need them.

How Far Have We Travelled In Space?
In the past week we have been working on a creation to answer the question how far have we travelled. We spilt into teams in my team was Kahukura, Mailli and Naquita. This is our video we mad
